Medela - Integrative/Supplementary Breastfeeding System (DAS/SNS)
The DAS/SNS supplemental/supplemental breastfeeding system allows mothers to breastfeed who otherwise would not be able to breastfeed. It also helps babies train their sucking behavior.
It offers the following benefits:
- It can be used by mothers who have or fear that they have low milk production
- Helps stimulate the mother's milk production with direct sucking at the breast
- It can be used when supplementation to breast milk is required
- Train the baby to correct sucking by creating a vacuum
The system supports the unique bond between mother and infant, motivating them to have a more satisfying breastfeeding experience.
The supplementary feeding system is a reservoir that is filled with supplemental nutrition. It can be placed on the mother's chest or on an IV pole. The thin, flexible tubes are attached to the mother's nipples and dispense more milk and any supplements while the baby feeds at the breast.
The device can be reused after being cleaned following the instructions for use.
