Baby food

Homogenized For All Tastes and Ages

Homogenized foods are foods with an intermediate consistency between liquid and solid which are mainly used for infant weaning; since they do not require any chewing, they are recommended in case of incomplete teeth.
Due to their promiscuous nature, they guarantee a gradual transition between the liquid feeding of the infant and the solid feeding of the weaned child.
These products are not ground or blended since the homogenization process is a method which makes the treated food completely uniform, consisting of a suspension without a concentration gradient, or an emulsion.

What are baby food for?

Baby food is used to complete the infant's diet in the phase between the liquid (mother's milk) and the solid (first formed foods).
The fact that they do not have to be chewed allows these products to be used from the first months of the child's life to offer him the possibility of ingesting nutritional elements useful for his growth in addition to those present in mother's milk.
In fact, baby food contains not only simple nutrients such as carbohydrates, high biological value proteins, vitamins and mineral salts, but also dietary fibers and prebiotics, depending on their composition, which guarantee correct functioning of the intestinal function.

What are the various types

There are various types of baby food, namely:
– meat
- fish
- vegetables
- fruit
– organic.
The homogenized meats are made up of high biological value proteins deriving from selected meats of chicken, turkey, veal, rabbit and pork, or beef.
Homogenized fish contain noble proteins obtained from preferably lean fish meat, and are rich in calcium and phosphorus, essential mineral salts for the harmonious development of the newborn.
Homogenized vegetables contain active ingredients extracted from numerous types of vegetables, and are rich in vitamins and mineral salts; they also contain dietary fiber in variable concentrations.
Fruit homogenized products are produced using homogenized fruit both in single form (apple, pear, plum, banana) and in multiple form (combinations between apple and pear or others).
Organic homogenized products are produced without added sugar or preservatives and derive exclusively from organic production to offer parents a maximum guarantee of authenticity and safety.
In general, these are products characterized by a high percentage of vitamins and mineral salts and low in cholesterol and saturated fats.
