The Medela SpecialNeeds bottle is designed to allow the baby to use compression when they cannot create a vacuum to extract liquid. The one-way valve prevents air from entering the teat. The operator can easily control the flow of milk using a slotted valve mechanism.

The SpecialNeeds bottle is designed for babies with neurological syndromes and disorders, or because they have a cleft lip/palate. The SpecialNeeds bottle can be used with teats of two different sizes.

Advantages of the SpecialNeeds feeding bottle

The marking on the teat helps the operator to find the right position (three different flows).

The slit valve makes the teat sensitive even to weak suctions and closes completely when the baby wants to take a break. The one-way valve prevents air from entering the teat.

The SpecialNeeds bottle is equipped with a standard size teat. If the baby's oral cavity requires the Mini SpecialNeeds teat, which is smaller, just change the teat.

The SpecialNeeds bottle can be reused after being cleaned following the instructions for use.
