Yes, it is possible to install Coral with the FamilyFix3 base on the front passenger seat as long as it is equipped with ISOFIX anchors. It is VERY IMPORTANT to ensure that the airbag has been deactivated. Most cars do not have ISOFIX anchor points in the front passenger seat.

Can I install Coral using only the car seat belt?
Yes, you can install Coral with your car seat belt. For a safe installation, carefully follow the installation instructions in the user manual or on the product. Coral is approved under i-Size ECE R129-03 as a universal Advanced Child Restraint System (ECRS) with seat belt. This means that i-Size approval is guaranteed even when installed with a seat belt.

What does it mean that Coral is i-Size approved even when installed with the car belt?
It means that even when installed with the car's seat belt, Coral complies with i-Size testing protocols, just like when installed on an ISOFIX base.

Can I use Coral on an ISOFIX base?

How can I adjust the height of the seat belts?
The height of the seat belt is adjusted using the Baby-Hugg reducer cushion. For newborns with a maximum height of 60 cm it is necessary to use the Baby-Hugg reducer cushion to guarantee the ideal height of the seat belt in the shoulder area. For newborns with a height between 61 cm and 75 cm it is recommended to remove the reducer cushion. This makes the lying position lower and ensures the ideal seat belt height in the shoulder area.

How can I remove Coral from the stroller?
You can remove Coral from the stroller by simultaneously pressing the two gray buttons located next to the carrying handle on the side of the car seat and pulling the seat upwards. Make sure you place the car seat rear-facing and not forward-facing on the stroller. When used with the Maxi-Cosi, Maxi-Cosi and Quinny strollers, Coral releases very easily with one hand thanks to the memory buttons.

Coral complies with the i-Size (R129) regulation. What does it mean?
i-Size (R129) is a new approval regulation designed to make car seats even safer. Car seats with i-Size (R129) approval offer ISOFIX installation, rear-facing positioning up to a minimum of 15 months of age and improve in-car safety by offering greater head and neck protection. When should I remove the Baby-Hugg reducer cushion from Coral?
The Baby-Hugg reducer cushion was specifically developed to provide greater safety and comfort to newborns. The baby-Hugg reducer pillow becomes small for the newborn generally when it exceeds 60 cm. From that moment it is possible to remove the reducer cushion from Coral and use it without it.

Why does the Coral instruction sticker indicate a weight limit of 12kg?
i-Size (R129) approved child car seats are divided into categories based on height, but the regulations also require you to indicate the maximum weight of the child. Coral is suitable for children from birth (40cm) up to 75cm in length. The weight limit of 12kg shown on the Coral refers to the weight of 95% of children 75cm long. This means that only 5% of children will weigh more than 12kg when they reach 75cm.

What does modular car seat mean?
Coral is the first modular car seat, which means that the baby carrier can be detached from the protective shell. This ensures safety in the car, maintaining the convenience of ergonomic and light transport.

4. Lift the baby carrier and separate it from the protective shell;
5. When you reattach the baby carrier, make sure you hear a "click";
6. Carry handles automatically retract when released;
7. Reposition the body handle in the position as forward as possible towards the child's legs until it locks in the vertical position.
