TENCEL™ Lyocell is a biodegradable fiber obtained from cellulose, therefore it is an industrially produced fiber starting from natural raw materials such as, for example, the pulp of eucalyptus wood from sustainable plantations and through low environmental impact processes.

TENCEL™ fibers have an exceptionally smooth surface with a silky feel, almost as warm as wool, yet breathable like linen and more absorbent than cotton. Thanks to these characteristics, combined with the sustainability of the production chain, TENCEL™ Lyocell is increasingly successful in the world of sustainable fashion, and is ideal for making covers for car seats and mattresses for strollers, in fact it absorbs moisture , regulates the temperature and naturally prevents the proliferation of bacteria.

Fabrics produced with Tencel™ fibers are thermoregulatory, i.e. they manage to keep us cool when it's hot but at the same time warm up in cold periods. This allows the body to maintain a constant temperature.
Tencel™ fibers are able to quickly transfer body moisture to the external environment. Tencel™ Lyocell can absorb up to 50% more moisture than cotton.
