The new KIDFIX i-SIZE generation was developed in collaboration with the main car manufacturers, to offer your child maximum safety when traveling by car. It features the proven technologies of XP-PAD and SecureGuard for frontal impact protection, while the new SICT design protects your child from side impacts. Spoiler booster protection
Our high-back booster seats protect your child in 3 ways: the seat shell offers protection from your child's head to hips, especially in the event of a side impact; upper and lower belt guides ensure correct positioning of the seat belt; and the padded headrest provides safety and comfort for your baby's head and neck.
Redesigned seating area for optimal performance in the event of a crash

Ergonomic and easily adjustable headrest
Our headrest is specifically designed for the comfort of older children and can be easily adjusted to the correct position. Helpful markings on the back of the headrest guide parents to find the right headrest height whenever changing seats between cars or carrying multiple children in the same seat.
Advanced Side Impact Protection – SICT
Our SICT offers superior protection for your child in the event of a side collision. It reduces impact forces by minimizing the distance between the car and the car seat and deforms to absorb the energy before it reaches your little one. To benefit from the protection, simply adapt the SICT to the side of the car seat closest to the door. SICT reduces side impact forces by up to 40%*

SecureGuard
SecureGuard helps protect your child's delicate abdominal area by adding an extra - fourth - point of contact to the 3-point seat belt. By keeping the lap belt in an optimal position over the child's pelvic bones, SecureGuard helps reduce abdominal forces in the event of a frontal collision by up to 35%* while at the same time allowing the child freedom of movement while travelling.

Unique neck and chest protection
Despite good planning and careful driving, you can never prepare for a collision. To protect your child's delicate neck area in the event of a frontal impact, Britax Römer has developed a cushioning foam pad. It prevents the impact of your baby's chin on the chest, absorbing up to 30%* of the energy. A jerky forward movement of the head is reduced and the neck is protected. At the same time it provides additional padding around the edges of the seat belt.

Installation with belts with ISOFIX attachment
This car seat must be installed using the vehicle's 3-point safety belt and your car's ISOFIX anchor points. This ensures a firm and secure connection between the car seat and the car, even when the child is not sitting in it. KIDFIX i-SIZE features integrated ISOFIX connectors that allow you to secure the car seat to your car's ISOFIX anchorage points. The ISOFIX installation system offers superior crash performance when the child is secured with the car's 3-point seat belt and ensures that the seat is always securely fastened to the car, even when not in use by the child. Installation with Belts
This car seat can be installed with the car's 3-point seat belt. This option is useful if you will be transferring the car seat to several cars which may not all have ISOFIX anchorage points. The seat belt guides on the car seat will help you install the seat correctly. Check your vehicle owner's manual for suitable seats and ask your local dealer for a test fit in your car (ask a Britax Römer trained staff member), before purchasing your car seat.
