Curiosity.
A study by the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, disclosed by the Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health,
it supports the hypothesis that parents have a higher life expectancy than their peers without children, even up to 2 years more.
Apparently, it is mainly men who benefit from this increase, regardless of the sex of the child. Furthermore, the risk of death would decrease above all after a certain age and, for the researchers, the determining factors could be loneliness and lack of assistance from the children.
So good news for mums and dads!
